The tasks a Pressing Machine Operator is expected to perform include:Executing the task of making round capacitors flat

Setting up and operating a pressing machine as per the shape and size of capacitor

Checking the capacity value of the flattened capacitors with LCR meter

Maintaining the pressing machine

Performing sample pressing

Knowledge of different types of capacitors

Well-versed with acceptable tolerances in capacity value deviation

Knowledge of FIFO system of inventory control

Proficient in maintaining quality standards

Well-versed with safety precautions to be taken during the processing of capacitors

Knowledge of 5s standards at the work premises

Well-versed with process of maintaining machines and basic repairs

Knowledge of recognising traceability back to original materials
