The tasks a Cutter, Hand (Textile Products) is expected to perform include: Cutting garment parts and other articles to be sewed together from cloth, canvas, etc. using scissors Spreading single or multiple layers of cloth, fabric or other material to be cut on table or board

Placing pattern on material in such a position as to have least wastage

Marking outline on material with chalk to facilitate accurate cutting

Well-versed with different types of garments for cutting

Knowledge of how to correctly examine garments

Ability to cut garments as per patterns

Well-versed with taking measurements for different patterns

Proficiency in using instruments like shears, scissors, hand knife, hand operated guillotine, power driven oscillating knives, etc.

Working hours

Working hours are for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company Shift system maybe available
