The tasks a Mixing Machine Attendant is expected to perform include:
Mixing flour, water, milk, sugar and other ingredients by machine according to instructions or a specified formula to make dough for cakes, biscuits, wafer, etc.
Measuring various ingredients such as flour, sugar, water and milk in the required proportions and dumping them into the mixing machine
Turning the knobs to set the mixing time and maintaining the temperature of the dough
Starting the machine and observing the operation of mixing and the automatic formation of the dough
Checking the dough for the desired consistency
Stopping the machine and dumping the dough into the trough
Pushing the troughs of sponge dough into the room to ferment for a specified time
Dumping the raised sponged dough into the mixer
Adding ingredients to complete the mixer
Recording the number of batches mixed
Knowledge of the temperature requirements of the equipment used
Knowledge of the ratio of ingredients to be put into the machine
Skilled in identifying the quality of dough
Skilled in modifying the ingredients in case the dough is not up to the mark
Ability to maintain a record of the batches made
