The tasks a Metal Spinner is expected to perform include:Fashioning metal sheet on spinning lathe into hollow-ware, utensils and fancy articles
Studying drawings and other specifications of the article to be made
Selecting appropriate mandrels, wooden chuck or mould
Fastening mould to spindle or lathe
Measuring, marking and cutting discs from sheet metal stock and drilling hole in each disc
Repeating processes efficiently to enhance productivity
Smoothing and trimming spun piece with hand tools
Skilled in reading and interpreting Auto Cad drawings
Knowledge of mechanical operations
Proficient in working on a spinning machine
Skilled in using different measuring instruments
Equipped in using appropriate hand tools during the entire process
