Relevant sand casting experience of 2-3 years
The tasks a Casting Technician-Sand Moulding is expected to perform include: Handling all types of sand-related casting processes Performing both, manual and automated processes
Managing the specifications of sand and molten metal
Setting up and operating the casting equipment Forming and finishing the final output
Skilled in understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and sketches
Skilled in understanding the processes and equipment requirement to complete atask
Proficiency in preparing the machine (apparatus) and auxiliaries
Efficient in performing sand making-related operations
Adept in monitoring the process parameters
Proficiency in performing the core making-related operations
Familiarity with conducting quality checks and inspection of the finished products
Adept in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment at the workplace
Knowledge of maintaining 5s in the work premises

The newer, second plant actually ranks number one in terms of productivity and quality according to Bo Shin Seo, CEO& MD, Hyundai Motor India (HMI).
