Minimum 5th Certified training for Plumber (General) Helper (programme aligned to PSC/Q 00 released by Indian Plumbing Skills Council)

Minimum 6 months of work experience as an unskilled helper in lieu of minimum educational qualification

The tasks a Plumber (General) Helper is expected to perform include: Carrying and handling required tools and materials Assisting in pre-installation activities, minor repair and maintenance work of plumbing systems

Knowledge of basic sanitary fittings and fixtures

Basic knowledge of procedural techniques like bending, cutting, etc. Basic knowledge of various tools and equipment

Knowledge of proper material disposal procedures

Understanding of the basic units of measurement Knowledge of pre-installation preparation procedures

Previous on-the-job training

Knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages

Good communication skills

Team spirit

Decision-making skills

Organizational skills

It is a field job No need to lead a team
