The tasks a Domestic Data Entry Operator is expected to perform include:
Providing daily work reports
Working on a daily-hour basis
Entering data electronically
Basic understanding of computers and its terminology
Ability to handle different software needed for report writing
Knowledge of basic and advance pc workstation configuration, maintenance, networking as well as troubleshooting
Good knowledge of the operation and use of a standard alpha-numeric keyboard
Ability to compile simple reports from data entered
Ability to make comparisons between them through the use of various database management software
Proficiency in making error-free data entries with the help of various software, devices, equipment
Well versed with typical problems raised by customers and their solutions including workaround (alternate/situational) solutions
Familiarity with typical response times and service times for problems
Knowledge of the importance of documenting, classifying, prioritizing service requests, crowd management and others
Well versed with helpdesk systems, policies, and procedures
Ability to maintain a knowledge-base of the known problems
Computer literacy and high typing speed
Good product knowledge
Finger dexterity
Training programs and certifications in database management, hardware management, routing and switching, network management, customer orientation, dealing with difficult customers etc.
