Minimum 12th pass
Preferably minimum experience of 4 years in the relevant field
The tasks an Athletic Coach is expected to perform include:
Providing training or coaching to athlete on the technique and rules of competitivetrack
Training the players in the activities of the team during field events such as sprints, shot-put, javelin throw, pole-vault, etc.
Preparing the schedule of field and track events
Explaining and instructing the fundamental skills and rules of event to individual or groups of athletes under training
Demonstrating the techniques of play by personal example
Paying specific attention to improving health and stamina of the players
Recommending and demonstrating various types of exercises and drills to the players
Assisting the players in their play sessions so as to help them acquire proficiency in the game
Accompanying the teams going out for competition
In-depth knowledge of all the rules and regulations related to events like shot-put, javelin throw, pole-vault, etc.
Proficient in playing the sport
Skilled in training other athletes
Skilled in handling and using the sports equipment
Skilled in bring out the best in each player and helping them exhibit their talent, prowess, skill, style, etc.
Skilled in keeping a track of all the upcoming track events
Knowledge of nutritional requirements of athletic players
Skilled in providing physical training to the athletes
In-depth knowledge of designing training schedules for the players
