The tasks a Fire Inspector, Other is expected to perform include:

Ensuring that all other associate professionals comply with central/state government laws

Ensuring that the professionals comply with the approved plans, specifications and standards or inspecting fire prevention systems

Investigating fire sites to determine cause of fire, not elsewhere classified

Skilled in inspecting various offices and organisations for adequate preventive measures against fire hazards

Knowledge of all the laws and norms that have to be complied with in a workplace

Ability to issue notices to places where adequate fire preventive measures are not taken

Skilled in investigation techniques to find out the causes of fire

Skilled in making a report of the investigation and submitting to seniors
