The tasks an Instrumental Musician, String Instrument is expected to perform include:Playing musical string instruments of Indian or Western origin by movement of fingers or bow on strings
Ability to study different laws and principles of melodies, harmonies and other scientific aspects of music and transcribes songs in to musical notations
Proficient in rehearsing music on musical stringed instruments
Ability to tunes instrument to required pitch and harmony with other instruments
Ability to play singly or in accompaniment with other singers or musicians as member of orchestra, by set movements of fingers or bow on strings
Basic knowledge of composing own music or invent own instrument to produce special effects

Overview of Media & Entertainment Sector in India
The current employment across Media & Entertainment sector is estimated to be over 1 million persons (in terms of direct employment only).The Private Final Consumption Expenditure (PFCE) on Entertainment17 has grown at a Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 12.5% between 2000 and 2008. It is expected that the PFCE on Entertainment would grow at a CAGR of 13% to 14% between 2008 and 202218. Accordingly, it is expected that the industry would continue to record growth rates between 13% and 14% till 2013. Furthermore, on a long term basis, we expect that the Media and Entertainmentindustry to grow at a CAGR of about 12% to 13% between 2008 and 2022.
Keeping in mind the current employment, and the expected growth in different segments in theindustry, we project that the total employment in the Media andEntertainment industry would increase from about 1 to 1.1 million persons in 2008 to about 4 to 4.1 million persons in 2022, an incremental human resourcerequirement of about 3 million persons.
