The tasks a Quality Engineer is expected to perform include:Designing and implementing quality assurance initiatives for an organization Processing re-engineering, statistical quality control and other quality initiatives such as Six-Sigma and Kaizen
Knowledge of the methods of collecting data or information for quality assurance and the ways to apply them
Proficiency in analyzing data or information and the ways to use this analysis to identify risks to projects
Adept with identifying project risks and their potential or actual impact
Well-versed with the principles of project management and project lifecycle models
Knowledge of different quality tools in the organization and the ways to use them
Well-versed with using document preparation tools including Word, Visio, Powerpoint, Excel
Proficiency in the importance of obtaining approval for documents
Adept with checking and making corrections to documents for common editorial problems and errors including deviations, factual accuracies, linguistic mistakes, discrepancies, errors, formatting, etc.
Knowledgeofdifferentwaysofstructuringdocumentsandhowtoselectthebeststructurefortheagreedcontent
Well-versed with different styles used in documents including the organization?s style, types and styles of documents and templates
Adept with the sources of information and reference materials for creating documents
Certifications/courses/training in TQM, ISO Standards and other quality norms and standards
