Minimum Bachelor of Elementary Education and CTET qualified

Minimum experience of 25 years in relevant field

The tasks a Primary School Teacher is expected to perform include:

Teaching all subjects to the students of primary or elementary school

Teaching reading, writing, arithmetic, language, social science, moral science, history and geography

Teaching all the specified subjects according to prescribed time schedule

Allotting and correcting the homework

Conducting the tests and examinations

Preparing the examination results

Maintaining the school registers and record of attendance

Collecting the fees and submitting the accounts to office

Conducting extra-curricular activities such as hobby classes, sports, dramatics, etc.

Skilled in preparing the daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines

Proficient in organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment

Ability to motivate the pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation and stories

Proficient in preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development

Skilled in meeting requirements for the assessment and recording pupils' development

Ability to discuss students' progress and concerns with parents and academic co-ordinators

Skilled in keeping up-to-date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum

Proficient in organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place in the school

Skilled in encouraging the students to learn new things and participating in extra co-curriculum activities

Proficient in using computers to assist with lesson preparation, teaching and reporting

Skilled in developing and maintaining good working habits and discipline in classrooms
