Minimum B.El.Ed or Graduate with B.Ed. and CTET qualified

The tasks a Middle School Teacher is expected to perform include:
Teaching one or more subjects to students of middle school in regional language or English
Teaching the students of various standards
Allotting and correcting the homework
Conducting tests and examinations
Deciding a childs eligibility for promotion to higher standards
Maintaining the school registers and records
Collecting the fees when given the responsibility
Conducting sports and extra-curricular activities
Supervising library, canteen, dramatics, etc.
Teaching according to the basic educational systems
Proficient in the intricacies of the subject to be taught
Knowledge of various teaching strategies and disciplinary techniques
Skilled in preparing lessons and delivering them
Skilled in preparing and assessing examinations
Basic knowledge of child psychology
Skilled in establishing a good rapport with the students
Basic knowledge of maintaining records
Skilled in conducting and supervising extra-curricular activities
