The tasks a University and College Teacher, Fine Arts is expected to perform include:

Teaching university students principles and practices of one or more fine arts such as dance, music, painting, etc.

Delivering lectures and giving practical demonstrations

Guiding and supervising practical work

Setting examination papers, conducting examinations and marking papers

In-depth knowledge of the subject to be taught

Knowledge of different teaching strategies and disciplinary techniques

Skilled in preparing lessons and delivering them

Skilled in preparing and assessing examinations

Skilled in conducting researches, writing thesis and publishing them

Ability to teach the students effectively

Basic knowledge of people/child psychology
