The tasks a University and College Teacher, Management Subjects is expected to perform include:
Teaching one or more management subjects, within prescribed curriculum
Preparing and delivering lectures to students
Compiling bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignments
Stimulating group discussions and assigning projects to students
Compiling, administering and grading examinations or assigning this work to others
Directing research of other teachers or graduate students working for advanced academic degrees
Conducting research in particular field of knowledge and publishing findings in professional journals
Performing related duties, such as advising students on academic and vocational curricula and acting as adviser to student organizations
Serving on faculty committee providing professional consulting services to government and industry
Skilled in preparing and assessing examinations
Skilled in guiding the students and others in their research work
Ability to keep oneself updated with latest terminologies, methodologies and concepts
Skilled in conducting researches, writing thesis and publishing them
In-depth knowledge of various subjects/topics of Management
Ability to teach the students effectively
Basic knowledge of people/child psychology
