The tasks a University and College Teacher, Commerce Subjects is expected to perform include:

Teaching university students one or more Commerce subjects such as banking, accountancy, auditing, etc.

Delivering lectures and conducting seminars

Setting examination papers, conducting examination and evaluating the answer books

Conducting research and guiding research workers

Controlling and supervising teaching activities, if required

Skilled in preparing and assessing examinations

In-depth knowledge of any one field of Commerce

Skilled in conducting research, writing thesis and publishing them

Knowledge of all the latest developments in the field of teaching

Ability to teach the students effectively

Basic knowledge of people/child psychology

Not applicable
