Minimum MBBS

Minimum experience of 1 to 2 year in relevant field

The tasks a Physician, General is expected to perform include:

Diagnosing and treating ailments and disorders of the human body

Examining patients using stethoscope, blood pressure measuring instrument or any othermedical instrument

Considering symptoms of the patient and giving prescription accordingly

Making arrangements for clinical tests, X-ray and histo-pathological examination for correct diagnosis of disease or disorder

Prescribing medicines based on results of examination

Consulting other physicians or specialists, as necessary, in complicated and difficult cases

Conducting minor surgeries in required cases

Advising patients on regimen required to restore and maintain health

Keeping records of patients examined, their ailments and treatment given or prescribed

Knowledge of Ministry of Health (Mo

H) policies and general system of health management

Skilled in science such as biology, human anatomy and biochemistry

Proficient in examining patients and conducting blood test Skilled in interpreting tests and accordingly counselling patients on rehabilitative, preventative and dietary care

Knowledge of all the potential side effects associated with a particular drug and informing the patient accordingly

Skilled in using medical equipments and instruments
