The tasks a Manager, Agriculture Farm is expected to perform include:Managing operations and staff employed for growing agricultural produce on the farm
Identifying the crop best suited for the existing soil, climate, irrigation facilities, etc.Procuring seed material and other resources required for the farm
Supervising preparation of farm for cultivation
Managing ways and means to irrigate cultivation
Supervising operations of manure preparation, weeding, spraying insecticides, etc.Ensuring protection of crops from wild animals
Supervising harvesting, threshing, winnowing, bagging, storing, etc.Identifying market for cultivated products and arranging transport for the same

Ensuring up-keep of equipment, building, etc.Maintaining muster roll of labour and organizing office correspondence
Maintaining production and cost accounts
Arranging payment of various taxes and dues

Basic knowledge of arithmetic and accounting
